To perform symbol-footprint mapping in KiCad format, follow these steps:
Rename the downloaded ZIP file to the actual part name → extract the ZIP.
Open KiCad
Go to Preferences → Manage Symbol Libraries
Click Add existing library to table → select the extracted symbol library → click OK.
Go to Tools → Symbol Editor.
Search and select the extracted symbol from the ZIP file.
Go to File → Symbol Properties.
Copy and paste the downloaded footprint file name into the Footprint field.
Click OK to save the changes.
