To perform symbol-footprint mapping in DesignSpark format, follow these steps:
Open DesignSpark
Go to File → Libraries.
Under Schematic Symbols → click Add File → select the .ssl file.
Under PCB Symbols → click Add File → select the .psl file.
Go to Components → click New Item.
Fill in the required fields such as Component, Description, and Package.
Select the appropriate Schematic Symbol and PCB Symbol, then click OK.
Perform pin mapping according to the datasheet.
Save the component as a .cmp file.
