To perform symbol-footprint mapping in Autodesk EAGLE format, follow these steps:

  1. Open EAGLE

  2. Go to File → New → Library.

  3. Select Library → Manage Symbols → Import.

  4. Click Open Library Manager → click Browse → select the downloaded .lbr files

  5. The files will be synced and you can close the Library Manager window.

  6. Search for the symbol file from the remaining opened window → click OK → symbol is loaded.

  7. Go to Library → Manage Packages → Import.

  8. Search for the footprint file → click OK → footprint is loaded.

  9. Go to Library → Manage Devices.

  10. Copy and paste the part name into the New Device Name field → click OK → click Yes.

  11. In the left panel, click Add Part → select the symbol → place it in the symbol window.

  12. Click New (bottom-right) → choose Add Local Package → select the footprint → click OK.

  13. Click Connect and perform the pin mapping according to the datasheet.

  14. Click OK to finish.
