Instabuild for Symbols
Step 1
At the part page, click on Build Symbol.
Step 2
Use the page toggle above the PDF to locate the pin mapping. Then, highlight them on the datasheet, so our OCR tool can detect them.
Step 3
Edit the extracted data to your preferences if needed, and generate the symbol.
Step 4
Presto! The created symbol will be available for your personal use on the part page. You will be able to download it in all supported formats.
InstaBuild for Footprints
Step 1
At the part page, click on Build Footprint.
Step 2
Use the page toggle above the PDF to locate the mechanical definitions. Notice that the part should match the IPC model type shown on the right.
Step 3
Enter the dimensions depicted on the datasheet into the form - Ensure all fields are filled. Once done, please click on Generate Footprint.
**The form recognizes all dimensions on millimeters**
Step 4
Presto! The created footprint will be available for your personal use on the part page. You will be able to download it in all supported formats.
NOTE:
The InstaBuild Wizard is currently only available on selected parts with common IPC standard packages (like SOIC and QFN for example).
If the InstaBuild Wizard is available for a component, you will see the "Build Symbol" and/or "Build Footprint" buttons mentioned above.
