You might notice the color of the 3D model of the part to have only one color when imported to FreeCAD.

To be able to show the true colors of the model, you need to enable a setting in FreeCAD by:

  1. Opening the STEP file.

  2. Go to Edit > Preferences > Import-Export

  3. On the STEP tab, make sure that the AP214 option is enabled.

  4. Make sure that Enable STEP merge is disabled.

This is what the model should look like in FreeCAD.
