FAQ:
Q
: I get an error saying 'Failed to import from file...." after selecting the Eagle .lbr file?
A: Open the .lbr file using the latest version of Eagle and try to save the library again so that it will be updated to the latest format of the XML file.

The reason for having an error is that the .lbr file you tried to import is using an old XML file format, so opening that .lbr file from the latest version of Eagle and saving it again will make the new .lbr file in new XML format.

You might encounter some .lbr files from our database that has this error but most of our parts work perfectly fine because they were created initially using the new XML format.
