Note: these instructions are for the Windows version only.

If you already have installed an old version of the SnapMagic Plugin for Fusion 360 and you would like to update it to the latest one, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Autodesk Fusion 360, open the SnapMagic Plugin, search for a part and a warning sign will show if a new version is available, click on it. This will redirect you to the SnapMagic Plugins site.

  2. Download the SnapMagic Plugin for Fusion 360 Win version.

  3. Close Fusion 360.

  4. Go to the Control Panel of your computer.

  5. On Programs click on Uninstall a program.

  6. Find the SnapEDA Plugin file, right-click on it and select Uninstall.

  7. Once the Uninstalling process is done, unzip the file downloaded in Step 1, and double click on the SnapEDA_win64 installer.

  8. Click on Install now, this may take a few minutes.

  9. Open Fusion 360, the SnapEDA Icon will now show in the Utilities tab.

  10. Open SnapEDA App, introduce your credentials, and start browsing for your parts!

Note: the latest version available of the SnapEDA Plugin for Fusion 360 is v2.1.1.

What to do if the SnapEDA icon doesn’t show immediately?

  1. Open Fusion 360 > Go to the Utilities tab > ADD-INS > Scripts and Add-Ins…

  2. On the next window, select the Add-Ins tab and verify that the SnapEDA folder is under My Add-Ins, if not, click on the Plus (+) button and select the SnapEDA folder.
