Follow these steps to import into Fusion360 using the Snapmagic Plugin for Windows:

  1. On the New Design Tab, go to Utilities.

  2. Click on the SnapEDA icon to open the SnapMagic Plugin. If this is the first time you use the App, introduce your credentials.

Note: you can also access the plugin by going to File > New Electronics Design > New PCB > Tools.

  3. Search for the part you want to add to your Library, once you have found it, select it and click Download.

  4. On the next window select Import Part.

  5. If the part has a 3D model, you will be directed to the 3D view window. If not, please proceed to Step 10.

  6. Position and align the 3D model with the footprint.

  7. Once you're satisfied with the alignment, click Finish, click Save, then click OK.

  8. You will be directed to the library window with the 3D model attached.

  9. Go to File > Save then click OK.

  10. Once done, open your project or go to File > New Electronics Design > New Schematic.

  11. Click on Place Component, use the filter and search for the library you added.

  12. Double-click on the component you just download or drag and drop it to place it in your design.

This is what your symbol, footprint, and 3D model should look like.
