How to add parts into ExpressPCB using the SnapMagic plugin

Follow these steps to add symbols & footprints into ExpressPCB Plus using the SnapMagic plugin:

Symbols:

  1. Launch ExpressSCH Plus.

  2. Click on Component > Component & symbol Manager.

  3. Select Import from SnapEDA

  4. Search for the part number you want to download.

  5. Select the part number and click Download.

  6. In the success popup, click OK.

  7. Select Yes for closing the plugin and placing the part, or No for adding it to your library and keep searching for parts.

Footprints:

  1. Launch ExpressPCB Plus.

  2. Go to File > Import part from SnapEDA.

  3. Search for the part number you want to download.

  4. Select the part number and click Download.

  5. In the success popup, click OK.

  6. Select Yes for closing the plugin and placing the part, or No for adding it to your library and keep searching for parts.
