How to import a 3D model in Pulsonix

  1. Open Pulsonix, find and click the icon for Libraries or go to Setup > Libraries.

  2. In the Library Window, select the Library Folder tab and click Add...

  3. You need to add the folder where the STEP file is located then click OK.

  4. In the Library Window, select the STEP Models tab and you will see the STEP files included in the folder you located.


How to place the 3D model in Pulsonix

  1. Go to Tools > Position STEP Model...

  2. Choose the model you're working on in the drop-down list from the Position STEP Model window.

  3. Make the necessary adjustments with the Rotation, Offset, and Colors. Once satisfied, click OK.


How to preview/reposition a 3D model in Pulsonix

  1. Go to Output > STEP...

  2. Click Preview.

  3. You may now interact with the 3D models in the Preview window.

  4. Click a component and reposition if necessary using the arrows shown (X,Y and Z-axes) by dragging them to your desired position
